Career Counselling

Career Counselling is a confidential, facilitated, one to one exploration process which supports individuals to reassess and redesign their career.

Work satisfaction comes when we are interested in what we are doing, using the skills that we enjoy using most and working in an environment that supports our values. The career counselling process gives you the time and space to explore and unravel your career story and is designed to support you in clarifying what interests you, what you enjoy and what you value.

Through exploring these areas, what seems to happen is that individuals gain more confidence and a stronger sense of self as well as clarifying what they want and what it is they have to offer an employer.

We then explore your choices and identify what the next right step is for you.

Although career change may take some time to implement fully what normally happens is that individuals make a number of small but significant changes to improve their circumstances NOW.

“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to be able to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”

The above process takes place over a number of sessions and usually at weekly intervals.
