Psychotherapy & Counselling

Psychotherapy and counselling offers you the opportunity, the time and the space to explore what matters to you in a caring, respectful, confidential, supportive and non judgemental setting.

Here are some reasons you may be considering embarking on psychotherapy and counselling:

  • You may be feeling generally dissatisfied without being exactly sure why you feel so
  • You may not be fully clear about what you want
  • You may feel that something is missing or part of you is not being expressed
  • You may have a particular relationship issue
  • You may be feeling sad, depressed, alone, lonely without knowing why
  • You may feel confused
  • You may be stuck
  • You may feel lost
  • You may not be sure how you feel
  • You may feel helpless, hopeless or powerless to change things
  • You may feel that you are not understood or heard

Any or all of these feelings may be difficult to discuss with friends or family out of fear of burdening them, fear of letting them see the real you, fear of not being understood, fear of not being acceptable or loveable or a multitude of other reasons.

Psychotherapy and counselling is a process to help you explore what is happening in your internal and external worlds and how these two worlds relate. Central to the work is the development of clarity and awareness of what is happening in the ‘here and now’.

My training is in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy with the Flatstone Institute. As a Trainee Psychotherapist I engage in fortnightly supervision whilst working to the ethics of the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP).

I can offer one to one sessions at negotiable rates as I am still in training.
